Introducing ChemScribble
We are incredibly proud to introduce ChemScribble today! ChemScribble allows users to communicate chemistry to computers the same way they communicate it to other chemists: by simply drawing with a pen. ChemScribble has been a passion project for our team for many years, and we are excited to finally make the first public beta available to our customers. As with any beta release, expect the unexpected—some features are still under development, and certain results may not yet be perfect. Even so, we believe ChemScribble already delivers an impressive experience, and this is only the beginning.

Because ChemScribble is built around the natural act of drawing chemistry, the interface intentionally contains very few buttons. Simply scribble your chemistry with a stylus, just as you would on paper with a pen or pencil. Whether you're a bench chemist sketching an idea, taking quick notes between meetings, or a student completing a digital quiz, ChemScribble removes much of the friction of traditional WYSIWYG chemical editors so you can focus on communicating your chemistry instead of constructing it.
ChemScribble is currently available as a desktop application for Windows, macOS, and Linux. While it can be used with a mouse, we strongly recommend using a stylus-compatible device for the best experience. We are actively developing a web version of ChemScribble to make it even more accessible, and we will continue to evaluate native iOS and Android applications as the project grows and user demand evolves.
All current ChemDoodle subscription, Lifetime, and Site License customers automatically receive full access to ChemScribble at no additional cost. To reflect our growing collection of chemistry applications, our licenses are also being renamed from ChemDoodle subscriptions and licenses to iChemLabs Suite subscriptions and licenses. Customers can continue to expect the same commitment to quality, innovation, and support across every application in the suite.
Our mission at iChemLabs has always been to create powerful chemistry software that remains affordable and accessible. ChemScribble represents another step toward reducing the barriers between chemists and the digital tools they use every day.
