The Internet Explorer 9 beta was released today and as expected, ChemDoodle Web Components work without issues. Performance is slightly slower with IE9 than with Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox, but rendering is high quality and all gestures work without issues. Therefore, users of ChemDoodle Web Components can still use their browser of choice, and those that choose IE will no longer require the Google Chrome Frame add-on after this update.

iChemLabs focuses on portable technologies so our products are accessible to the widest range of scientists across all operating systems. We take pride in our high quality libraries that always work without issues even after new browser or operating system updates. iChemLabs is the only company to work with HTML5 in the sciences. Please feel free to contact us for ChemDoodle Web Components support or for collaboration opportunities.
